Mohamed was born and raised in the golden dunes of Merzouga, in the heart of the Sahara Desert, where his nomadic family has lived for generations. The desert is not just his home, it’s part of who he is. With a warm spirit and a deep love for the land, Mohamed brings Morocco to life for those lucky enough to travel with him.
His journey began in a unique way as a mechanic, assisting rally drivers navigating the desert's challenging terrain. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his expertise in desert travel. Over the years, he transitioned into guiding, working with respected tour agencies and earning a reputation for being both knowledgeable and deeply caring.
Mohamed speaks Arabic, Berber, French, and English, and serves as both driver and guide. With his calm presence and intimate knowledge of Morocco’s landscapes and culture, guests are in safe, trusted hands and often leave feeling like they've made a lifelong friend.
Hailing from M’Hamid El Ghizlane, a native Moroccan with roots in a nomadic Sahrawi tribe deep within the Sahara, Mohamed offers travelers more than a decade of experience guiding them across Morocco.
